ARCHITECTURE

To mark Fujinomiya medical association’s 60th anniversary, the client wanted to create a hub for medical practitioners in the Fujinomiya area. The central structure of the building echoes the iconic form of Mount Fuji, which provides a stunning backdrop. The building is now an important centre to the community, as well as a hub for medical education.

富士宮市医師会創立60周年を記念して行われた新医師会館設計競技にて１等案として選出される。富士宮市の医師会会合、講習会等を行うための新施設として計画された。敷地背面に望む富士山と呼応した円錐形エントランスホールを持ち、医師会館としての機能だけでなく地域コミュニティにおいての重要拠点となるよう計画された。
